Bel Cibo Hospitality to have six more outlets by 2016

Bel Cibo Hospitality is set to launch its third outlet, 'Informal', even as founders Sharad and Naresh Madan plan to expand the chain to outside the National Capital Region in 2016.

NEW DELHI: Bel Cibo Hospitality, which owns and operates Delhi-based restaurant Imperfecto, is set to launch its third outlet, ' Informal', this week, even as founders Sharad and Naresh Madan plan to expand the chain to outside the National Capital Region in 2016.

At a time when the organised restaurant industry is seeking funding from external partners, Bel Cibo has no plans to look for any funds. "It typically takes Rs 1-1.5 crore to set up a restaurant the size of 5500-6000 sq. ft. For now, we do not plan to bring in any external investments,” Sharad Madan told ET.

The father-son duo opened the first Imperfecto restaurant in Hauz Khas Village in 2013 and the second in Gurgaon’s Cyberhub. The third has recently launched in Janpath in Connaught Place.

The company will open a combination of Imperfecto and Informal restaurants in its future expansion plans.

It is planning three more restaurants in the NCR region (Aerocity, Noida and Greater Noida) and then venture into Mumbai, Bengaluru and Dubai.
