Accor launches low-cost brand 'Formule1' in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD: Accor, international operator of hotels in Asia Pacific, on Wednesday launched its first property Formule1 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

By 2013-end, Accor would launch seven properties across India, said Philip Logan, Vice President Formule1 Hotels, India. Earlier this year, Accor had opened its property in Greater Noida.

"We aim to provide essential comfort at the best price. We bring in this unique experience in the low-cost segment making it the perfect choice for our customers in the region. With great potential in the city, Formule1 Ahmedabad will appeal to the customers with its added benefits, making it the perfect choice for them at a highly competitive price of around Rs. 2000 per person," he said.

The 132-room hotel offers cost conscious travelers simplicity and essential comforts in key locations. There are rooms designed specially for the physically challenged.
