XLRI announces date for Xavier Aptitude Test 2014
The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for admission to XLRI's two-year MBA programme will be held on 5th January, 2014.
This year, XAT will be conducted in a few additional centres including Udaipur, besides the 44 cities in India and three international cities of Dhaka, Dubai and Kathmandu.
The eligibility criterion the test is a three-year bachelors degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised or a deemed university.
Last year, 106 B-schools including XIME, Bangalore; XIM, Bhubaneswar, Goa Institute of Management, SPJIMR, Mumbai, Jaipuria Institutes of Management and Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA) accepted the XAT scores as part of their admission criteria.
XAT 2013 was conducted over three hours and the test was divided into multiple-choice questions on data interpretation and quantitative ability, analytical reasoning and decision making ability and verbal and logical ability. The newly-introduced 40 minute exam section included essay writing and general awareness.
