Veta to start operations in Singapore by year end

Veta, an English training academy, would start its operations in Singapore by this year end.

CHENNAI: Veta, an English training academy, would start its operations in Singapore by this year end. B Sreenadha Reddy, General Manager, Brand Management, Veta, told reporters here that the academy had secured funding from SAIF Partners, a private equity funds, for its expansion programme.

Additionally the academy was planning to inaugurate 60 spoken English training academies throughout the country in the next two months, he said.

V Rajagopalan, Chairman, Veta, said English was used as official language throughout the world and the academy was happy to extend its presence globally.

Fluency in English was one of the key criteria for employment today, as more and more multinational companies were establishing their presence across the world, he added.
