UGC-NET 2024 exam date shifted to 18th June following candidate feedback

The National Testing Agency (NTA) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) have decided to reschedule the UGC-NET exam from 16th June (Sunday) to 18th June 2024 (Tuesday). This decision was made in response to feedback received from candidates. The UGC-NET exam will be conducted in OMR mode across India on a single day.


Rescheduling Due to Candidate Feedback
UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar confirmed the change in the exam date, stating, "The National Testing Agency and UGC have decided to shift the UGC-NET from 16th June (Sunday) to 18th June 2024 (Tuesday) because of feedback received from candidates. NTA will conduct UGC-NET in OMR mode across India on a single day."
