TCS-ISI rolls out course for Northeast India students

GUWAHATI: Tata consultancy Services ( TCS) and Indian Statistical Institute ( ISI) has initiated a course for the domiciled students of Northeast India.

ISI and TCS has entered into memorandum of understanding (MOU) to offer one year post graduate diploma programme in " Statistical methods and analytics" for the students of the region. One successful completion of the programme students will be absorbed into TCS.

TCS and ISI are will also roll out training programme for ordinary graduates for making them employable in clerical job. This will be a quarterly training programme.

Dr C. Rangarajan, President of ISI chairman of, Economic Advisory council of Prime minister while inaugurating the programme said, " Economic and social development of Northeast India is a special concern of Government of India."
