Take your ambition further with the Kent Future Student Scholarship
Indian students are increasingly choosing the United Kingdom for higher education, with a 54% rise in study visas. Scholarships, like the Kent Future Student Scholarships, make studying in the UK more accessible and affordable.
One thing that has significantly contributed to making studying in the UK more attainable are scholarships. Scholarships have served as a vital catalyst, encouraging more students to pursue their academic aspirations abroad and contributing to the diversification and enrichment of the global education landscape. The road ahead now looks even smoother with the UK government simplifying the visa process for Indian students along with the Graduate Immigration Route allowing students to work in the UK for up to two years post-graduation without needing a tier-2 visa.
This dream of studying abroad in the United Kingdom is now more attainable than ever for Indian students, thanks to the University of Kent's new initiative – the Kent Future Student Scholarships. Designed to provide a significant financial boost to their academic aspirations, the Kent Future Student Scholarship gives Indian students looking to join the university for September 2024 a chance to save up to £5,000 on their first year of tuition fees . All they have to do is apply to their desired program at Kent and pay their tuition deposit before the deadline on 30th June 2024. By meeting this deadline, students automatically become eligible for a £5,000 scholarship, making their journey to the University of Kent more affordable and accessible.
But what if one needs more time? Well, the Kent Future Student Scholarship takes care of this too and students who need more time to finalize their plans don’t need to worry. The scholarship opportunity extends until the end of July, giving students an additional month to secure their place at Kent. Even if students pay their deposit during July, they will still receive a substantial £3,000 scholarship on their first year of tuition fees, easing the financial burden of studying abroad.

Who is eligible for the programme?
The Kent Future Student Scholarships are open to undergraduate and postgraduate taught applicants from India or domiciled in India, intending to start full-time UK programs in September 2024. Eligible applicants must be assessed as overseas fee payers and cannot hold this scholarship alongside the GREAT Scholarship or the India Women in Leadership Scholarship. Advanced entry students starting at Stage 2 or 3 are also eligible. However, applicants for certain programs like those including a foundation year, integrated pre-Masters programs, distance learning programs, KMMS programs, and the Finance (Dual Award) MSc are not eligible. If you're an Indian passport holder or reside in India and meet these criteria while starting a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate program at a UK campus in 2024, you could qualify for the automatic Kent Future Student Scholarship, worth up to £5000.
