Satyam launches SAP training academy

MUMBAI: Satyam Computer Services in association with SAP India on Wednesday announced the launch of a SAP training academy, which will train its professionals in SAP solutions over the next two years.
The academy would train company's professionals in current and future SAP solutions to develop a large pool of consultants certified on SAP solutions over the next two years, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
SAP India would provide specially designed training modules for basic and advanced education in SAP solutions, it said.
"We look forward to creating a pool of SAP specialists by providing our associates a world-class platform to develop the requisite skills and knowledge on SAP products," company's senior Vice President and Director Manish Mehta said.
With customized training modules, this initiative will enable Satyam to offer customers innovative solutions, he added.

This large-scale training initiative reinforces the company's strategy to bolster its expertise in SAP solutions and aligns with the growing demand for cutting-edge SAP professionals in the global marketplace, Mehta said."Satyam's training academy will develop a large pool of certified consultants, including more than 750 trained on different components of the SAP NetWeaver platform, which will enable Satyam to take advantage of the growing worldwide momentum for SAP NetWeaver and enterprise services architecture." SAP India President and CEO Alan Sedghi said.
