CHANDIGARH: Punjab Technical Education and Industrial Training Minister Anil Joshi today ordered immediate shifting of "idle instructors" posted in various ITIs where their field of specialisation was non-existent.

The Minister asked the concerned department to immediately shift all the instructors who were posted in those ITIs where their trade was non-existent.

He ordered that an instructor be posted only in that ITI in which the trade of his specialisation was being taught.

If the trade of his specialisation was not being taught in that ITI he would be shifted to an ITI where that trade was taught, he said.

The Minister also said that instructors would not be allowed to enjoy pay and perks without teaching a single day in an ITI.
