PM Modi to lay foundation stone of agri-institute in Jharkhand

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay foundation stone of National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) on June 28 at Barhi in Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand.

"The foundation stone will be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 28," said an official statement issued by the Agriculture Ministry.

Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh today inspected the inaugural venue of NARI at Barhi and reviewed the preparation for laying of foundation stone, an official statement said.

The Minister had a detailed discussion with officials about the progress of the proposed institutes' inaugural.
