NEW DELHI: Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) Director for human resource A K Balyan has been elected the president of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) for a two-year term.
NIPM, one of the apex institutes for promoting professional excellence in human-resource studies, has also elected Chief Employee Relations of ONGC Sushant Vats as the Regional Vice President, Northern Region and DGM (P&A), ONGC J A Kumar as Member from Southern Region.
As Director (HR) of the ONGC, Dr Balyan has led a series of innovative HR initiatives, galvanizing ONGC in people management, for the growth of the Company.
Kolkata headquartered NIPM has 52 chapters spread throughout the country with a membership of over 10,000.
