The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday said that it would issue the admit cards for the University Grants Commission (UGC)-NET exams by tonight.

The NTA will conduct UGC-NET in OMR mode across India on June 18.

"NTA plans to issue UGC-NET admit cards by tonight. Please check at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in Wishing the best to all the candidates who are going to take UGC-NET on 18 June 2024", said Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman, UGC.

Earlier, the National Testing Agency and University Grants Commission (UGC) decided to shift the UGC-NET from June 16 (Sunday) to June 18, 2024 (Tuesday) to avoid clashing with the UPSC preliminary exam.

UGC NET is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for 'Assistant Professor' and 'Junior Research Fellowship Assistant Professor' in Indian universities and colleges.

Notably, UPSC CSE is scheduled to be held on June 16 and was clashing with UGC NET.
