NIIT Q4 net up 14% at Rs 19.2 cr

NEW DELHI: Software major NIIT Technologies on Monday posted a 14 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 19.2 crores for the fourth quarter ended March 2006.
The company also announced an enhanced dividend of 60 per cent for the year 2005-06.
The company's consolidated revenue during Q4 was up 21 per cent at Rs 166.2 crores, NIIT Technologies Chairman Rajindra S Pawar said here.
The company's operating margin improved by 20 per cent in Q4.
Fresh order intake of $31 million in Q4 resulted in a pending order book of $76 million executable over 12 months, he said.
The company's consolidated revenue touched Rs 607.5 crore in the year ending 05-06 which reflected a 12 per cent increase over the revenue in the previous fiscal.
"Europe continued to provide the maximum share of business representing 43 per cent of total revenue while the Americas improved its contribution to 39 per cent during the year. Meanwhile, the rest of the world contributed 18 per cent of the revenue," Pawar said.
