NICOM 2014 to begin on Thursday at Institute of Management, Nirma University

AHMEDABAD: NICOM, the Annual International Management Conference hosted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University (IMNU) Ahmedabad on the theme of “New Perspectives of Finance and the Changing Economic Scenario” is set to begin the New Year on a high note for IMNU students. The event is to be conducted over the period of three days starting 9th January to 11th January, 2014. It will be inaugurated by Dr. A.K. Balyan - MD & CEO, Petronet LNG Ltd. and Dr. Dilip Nachane – Member, Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council & Professor Emeritus, IGIDR.

The event will be addressed by eminent speakers from the industry and academia who will opine about the opportunities, challenges and strategies for a sustainable growth. The Conference will provide insights on topics of relevance such as Inter-functional perspectives of Finance, Corporate Governance, Financial Inclusion, Inflation and Growth, Rural Credit and Development, among others.

NICOM 2014 is an academic and research-focused platform for sharing of ideas and knowledge says a university statement.
