More B-schools participate in XLRI fest

Ensemble 2007, XLRI Jamshedpur’s annual festival, is going from strength to strength.
KOLKATA: Ensemble 2007, XLRI Jamshedpur���s annual festival, is going from strength to strength. This time around, the event has seen the number of participating B-schools more than double from 15 to 33 while the number of events has gone up from 9 to 15.

The budget for the event has also seen an increase of more than 60% ��� from Rs 10 lakh last year to Rs 16 lakh plus.

One of the main draws of Ensemble 2007 was The Idea Summit, a panel discussion and keynote address on the event theme, India Unbounded: Unleashing the Tiger.

Speakers included the likes of Vineet Nayar, president, HCL Technologies; Sujaya Banerjee, chief learning officer of Essar group and Mohinish Sinha, associate director and head of HR consulting, PwC India, among others.

They spoke on trends of businesses, the role India will play in future and the contribution of Indians in new areas.
