Mookesh Patel appointed as dean of Indian School of Design and Innovation Parsons Mumbai

MUMBAI: The Indian School of Design and Innovation Parsons Mumbai ( ISDI) has announced the appointment of the new dean, professor Mookesh Patel.

Dean Patel has been the chair of visual communication at Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, Arizona State University - ranked in the top 5 design schools in the US.

An alumnus of Rhode Island School of Design, Patel has received his MFA in graphic design from there. This apart, he holds a diploma in visual communication from the National Institute of Design.

Design is gaining significance across sectors with global brands such as Apple, Pinterest and Airbnb leading the charge. Under Patel’s leadership, ISDI will increase its focus on a new educational model, inspired by the idea of design and innovation as transformative forces in society.
