Maharaja Sayajirao University join hands with EU varsities for student visit

MSU has joined hands with EU varsities to fund 16 students and faculties to visit seven European and 17 non-European universities according to reports.

MUMBAI: The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda ( MSU) has joined hands with EU varsities to fund 16 students and faculties to visit seven European and 17 non-European universities according to reports.

Faculty members and research scholars of MS University (MSU) will be able to to visit the partner universities in Europe for academic enrichment as it has entered into a partnership with the prestigious European Union (EU) consortium under Erasmus Mundus programme.

This consortium includes seven European and 17 non-European universities, which will get a total funding of 2.5 million Euros.

The MS University (MSU), is a university in the city of Vadodara, (Baroda) in Gujarat state, India. Originally known as the Baroda College of Science (established 1881), it became a university in 1949 after the independence of the country and later renamed after its benefactor Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, the former ruler of Baroda State.
