Kovai college ties up with German varsity

The city-based Nehru college of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences will enter into an agreement with the Hochschule Bremen University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

COIMBATORE: The city-based Nehru college of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences will enter into an agreement with the Hochschule Bremen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, for exchange programme of students and faculty in the field of aviation studies.
The MoU would be signed by the German university Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof Uwe Apel and Nehru College Chairman P K Das tomorrow, Sadhan Vignesh, HOD of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences, told reporters here on Tuesday.
Dr Helmut Eirumd, Head of Computer Science Engineering of the Hochschule Bremen University would also be present on the occasion.
The college would introduce a four year engineering degree course with a pilot training course (degree from the German University and pilot training from Lufthansa Flight Training), she said.
