Kolkata to witness its first diploma course on cyber laws

Public Relations Society Of India ( PRSI), Kolkata chapter and Mayabious Academy have jointly launched a six-month diploma course on ' cyber laws'. Designed by cyber expert and advocate Bivas Chatterjee, the course will broadly cover different types of cyber crimes, hacking, cyber pornography, cyber terrorism, electronic evidence as well as anti-spam laws.

In a statement issued on Monday, PRSI Kolkata chapter chairman Soumyajit Mahapatra said that the course would be the first of its kind in eastern India and would cater to investigating agency, lawyers, IT and engineering professionals. He further added that the communication industry would advance towards digitisation and individuals will have to deal content & e-commerce on smartphones.

Mayabious Academy CEO Akhil B Paul said that they hope to launch more courses in association with PRSI.
