Jharkhand govt decides to allot land to IIM-Ranchi

Jharkhand government today decided to allot land to the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, for construction of its campus at the earliest.

RANCHI: Jharkhand government today decided to allot land to the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, for construction of its campus at the earliest.

The decision to allot land was taken at a meeting chaired by Jharkhand Governor Syed Ahmed and attended by his advisors Anand Shankar and Madhukar Gupta, Chief Secretary R S Sharma and several other officials, a press release said here.

The land has been identified and a meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow which will be attended by the IIM's representatives, it added.
