JEE-Advanced results announced; Pune boy Chirag Falor tops exam: IIT officials

A total of 43,204 candidates of the 1,50,838 who appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2020 have qualified in the exam. Of the total qualified candidates, 6,707 are females.

KOLKATA: A total of 43,204 candidates of the 1,50,838 who appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2020 have qualified in the exam. Of the total qualified candidates, 6,707 are females. Chirag Falor of IIT Bombay zone is the top ranker in Common Rank List (CRL) with 352 marks out of 396 marks. Kanishka Mittal of IIT Roorkee zone is the top ranked female with CRL 17, with 315 marks out of 396.

According to a press release, the top 10 rank-holders from CRL are Chirag Falor, Gangula Bhuvan Reddy, Vaibhav Raj, R Muhender Raj, Keshav Agarwal, Hardik Rajpal, Vedang Dhirendra Asgaonkar, Swayam Shashank Chube, Harshvardhan Agarwal and Dhvanit Beniwal.

The total number of boys that have qualified is 36497. Of the total qualified candidates, 6707 are female.


In terms of zone-wise distribution of top 100 candidates, IIT Madras zone leads with 28 candidates followed by IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi zones with 24 and 22 candidates respectively.
