Jaro Education Q1 PAT up 48.27 pc at Rs 11.16 crore

Jaro Education reported a 48.27% year-on-year rise in profit after tax to Rs 11.16 crorefor the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs 7.53 crore a year earlier. Its total income increased 19.43% to Rs 72.62 crore.

Mumbai: Edtech firm Jaro Education on Wednesday reported a 48.27 per cent year-on-year growth in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 11.16 crore during the quarter ending June 30, 2026.

The company's PAT was at Rs 7.53 crore in the corresponding period of last fiscal year, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Total income of the company grew by 19.43 per cent during the quarter under review to Rs 72.62 crore compared to Rs 60.81 crore in the same period last year.


The quarter's performance was underpinned by continued learner traction as Jaro recorded gross bookings of Rs 190.30 crore and 8,169 admissions during the quarter, comprising 6,979 degree admissions and 1,190 certification admissions.

"The numbers come at a time when the nature of professional learning is undergoing a fundamental change. A degree at the beginning of a career is increasingly being complemented by continuous learning as technology, artificial intelligence and changing business models reshape the skills required across industries," the company said in a statement.
