ISB to increase admission intake by 200 seats
The Indian School of Business (ISB) is going to increase the size of its flagship post graduate programme in management by 200 seats.
ISB currently has intake of 570 students at its existing Hyderabad campus. The Mohali campus will be operational from April 2012. The two campuses will operate as a unified entity by effecting a seamless integration through inter-campus exchanges and virtual connectivity.
The Mohali campus will also house four institutes focusing on public policy, healthcare, manufacturing and infrastructure management. The institute, known for its executive MBA course, has also started the admission process across India for the class of 2013. ISB’s admission process will be conducted across India.
The institute has been recording a growth in the number of applications received. For instance, the total number of applicants from Kolkata has doubled, while the total number of students selected has tripled over the last five years.
