ISB starts new batch of post graduate prog with 774 students
The Indian School of Business (ISB) today said the one-year post graduate programme in management has commenced and the total student strength is 774.
Among the students are those from China and Pakistan. "A significant development this year is the marked increase in the number of professionals from PSU/Government, Healthcare and Fashion sectors," ISB said in a statement.
The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is being held at Hyderabad and Mohali campuses of ISB.
According to the statement, there has been a steady increase in the number of PSU and government employees joining the PGP with the present class having 33 professionals from organisations such as GAIL, BHEL and ONGC.
"The class of 2014 at the ISB reflects the school's efforts to identify the best of talent and provide them with a rich learning experience that will expand the bounds of their thinking and set them on the path for long-term career progress," ISB Deputy Dean Deepak Chandra said.
