International Women's Day organized by NABARD

Dr. Lakshmi Lingam, Professor & Chairperson, Centre for Women’s studies, School of Social Sciences, Tata Institute of Social Sciences was the chief guest at the celebration of International Women’s Day organized by NABARD.

Dr. Lakshmi made an excellent presentation on empowerment of women and studies conducted by her in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra and called upon all women assembled to keep their moral high and make all efforts for self as well as family development.
