Indian School of Design and Innovation launches co-working space ISDI Ace

With 30,000 square foot, ISDI ACE provides entrepreneurs with open and private incubator zones, co-working and collaboration spaces, maker labs and rapid prototyping arenas, cafeteria, conference rooms and meet up zones.

MUMBAI: The Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI), in association with Parsons, The New School, New York, has launched a co-working space, ISDI Ace to accelerate creative entrepreneurs. With the objective of boosting entrepreneurship and building a new age ecosystem for creative entrepreneurs, ISDI ACE has been set up in the Lower Parel Innovation District (LPID).

With 30,000 square foot, ISDI ACE provides entrepreneurs with open and private incubator zones, co-working and collaboration spaces, maker labs and rapid prototyping arenas, cafeteria, conference rooms and meet up zones.

“Given the rapid pace at which entrepreneurship is growing, co-working space is the need of the hour,” Radha Kapoor, Founder and Executive Director, ISDI ACE said in a release. Radha Kapoor is a major investor in Awfis which provides co-working space in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. She added, “Creating an ecosystem like ISDI ACE will give wings to entrepreneurial dreams as it helps to build an entrepreneurial network, accelerate the integration of start-up companies and catalyse innovation.“

Apart from the design school which has 1000 students, ISDI has successfully graduated 2 Creative Accelerators in partnership with Microsoft Ventures.

ISDI also hosts the office of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE Mumbai) to further entrepreneurship.
