IIT Madras wins NTPC Electron National Finale

New Delhi: IIT Madras won the NTPC Electron National Finale 2019, beating Shri Ram Swaroop Memorial University, Lucknow, which came second, and BITS Pilani, Goa, which stood third.

NTPC’s director for HR, Saptarshi Roy, and the director for operations, Prakash Tiwari, awarded the prizes to the winners at NTPC, PMI, Noida campus.

The quiz generated an overwhelming response from 566 teams comprising a total of 1,132 students who participated in the event that started in Patna last month. The event attracted teams from all engineering and business schools across Mumbai, Hyderabad, Noida, Lucknow and Kolkata.
