NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow has partnered with Harvard Business School (HBS) to offer its students of different subjects an option to do an elective course on ‘Microeconomics of Competitiveness’ next year.

The affiliate network at HBS would enable IIM Lucknow to access the continuously updated teaching material for Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC) developed by Professor Michael E Porter and the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness (ISC), the institute said in a release on Tuesday.

IIM Lucknow will also be able to use the Harvard expertise in cluster development at local government level, the release said.

Two faculty members from IIM Lucknow, Sanjay K Singh and Ashutosh K Sinha, had attended a three-day MOC faculty workshop last week at the HBS in Boston, Massachusetts.
