IIM-A gets European quality accreditation
IIMA is one among the 113 EQUIS-recognized schools among 33 countries to have attained international accreditation. Top 10 annoying office habits
AHMEDABAD: The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has been accredited by EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System), leading international accreditation body for international business schools, officials of the institute said here on Wednesday.
IIM-A has thus became the only business school in India to obtain international accreditation, an official release issued here said.

IIMA is one among the 113 EQUIS-recognized schools among 33 countries to have attained international accreditation, it said.
EQUIS is international system of Quality Assessment, Quality Improvement and Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions in management administration.
While accrediting management schools, EQUIS looks for balance between high academic quality and the professional relevance provided by close interaction with the corporate world, the release added.
