NEW DELHI: The term-end examination of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will start on December one across the country and abroad.
About 2.95 lakh students will appear for the examinations which will conclude on December 29 in 536 centers in the country and 33 abroad.
Fourteen centers have been set up in jails across the country to facilitate prisoners who have registered for the examinations, IGNOU Registrar Srikant Mohapatra said.
Examinations cards have been issued to all eligible candidates, he said adding students could also download them from IGNOU website -- www.ignou.ac.in.
He has also instructed officials to allow students who do not posses intimation slips but have their names in the list of examinees to appear for the tests.
