IGNOU likely to launch various law courses soon

In a bid to acquaint students with practical aspects of law, the Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to start a number of Certificate, Diploma, and Research programmes in Law soon.

NEW DELHI: In a bid to acquaint students with practical aspects of law, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to start a number of Certificate, Diploma, and Research programmes in Law soon.

The announcement was made during a recent visit of a Chinese Delegation to the School of Law, IGNOU and at the discussion on "Sustainable Development and Participatory Democracy" attended by Prof. Harold M, McDougall, professor of Law, Howard University, Washington, a release here stated.

The courses include Diploma in Legal Literacy, PG Certificate programme in Cyber Laws, in Patents, PG Diploma in Criminal Justice, Agricultural Law. Under Graduate programmes: BA (Law), LLB, Post Graduate Programmes: Masters Programmes in Criminal Justice, Cyber Law and Information Security, Agricultural Law, Intellectual Property and Research Programmes: Ph D in Law.
