MUMBAI : ICICI Prudential Life Insurance on Wednesday announced the launch of a six-month certification programme -- PGPMI-- focused on the insurance industry.
The company has inked partnerships with 10 business schools in the country.
The programme has been designed to train and develop skilled professionals, with an in-depth knowledge of the industry along with managerial abilities, a press release issued here said.
PGPMI is a full-time programme comprising a blend of theoretical and practical inputs aimed at providing enhanced career opportunities to graduates, the release said.
"In a people-intensive sector such as life insurance, the key to sustainable growth will be to develop a pool of high-quality talent who are trained as insurance professionals," ICICI Prudential Life's Human Resources Chief, Judhajit Das, said.
