ICFAI and Hotel Chanakya sign academics-industry partnership

PATNA: ICFAI University, Jharkhand today signed an agreement for academic-industry partnership with the hotel Chanakya for academics-industry partnership for mutual benefit.

Under the partnership agreement with ICFAI university, hotel Chanakya will arrange for guest lectures by its managers, hands-on lie projects and internships to the internship to the students enrolled to the university's Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management (BHTM) programme to be launched from the current academic year, hotel Chanakya's general manager T K Sinha said at a function.

Speaking on the occasion, ICFAI University Vice-Chancellor Prof O R S Rao said the tie up will help BHTM students to get exposure to corporate work environment and acquire hands-on practical skills.
