HRD Ministry permits Christ University to open centres in Ghaziabad and Pune

The two new centres will have departments in economics, psychology and commerce, and will run courses in MBA, BCom, and LLB.

BENGALURU: The Human Resources Development Ministry has has permitted the Bengaluru-based deemed-to-be university Christ University to start off-campus centres at Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and at Lavasa (Pune) in Maharashtra. The permission to start the courses from this year was based on a recommendation from the University Grants Commission (UGC),

The two new centres will have departments in economics, psychology and commerce, and will run courses in MBA, BCom, and LLB. The university will also run Data Science course at its Pune centre.
