Great Lakes Institute of Management to invest Rs 100 cr on new campus at Gurgaon

Balachandran said this at the announcement of the launch of Great Lakes programmes at the Gurgaon campus in tie-up with Institute of Energy Management and Research.

NEW DELHI: Great Lakes Institute of Management plans to invest over 300 crore in a business school in Mumbai and a university of corporate excellence in Bhubaneswar in the next two years, according to dean of Great Lakes Dr Bala V Balachandran.

Balachandran said this at the announcement of the launch of Great Lakes programmes at the Gurgaon campus in tie-up with Institute of Energy Management and Research.

Called Great Lakes Institute of Energy Management and Research, the school at present offers a two-year full time programme in energy management.

The institute will offer two more executive programmes starting January 2012 - a one-year general management programme and a two-year energy management programme conducted over weekends for working professionals.

The institute, which is operating out of a leased campus right now, will move to its new campus, also in Gurgaon, by 2013.
