Grand Masters for biz grads by ET

MUMBAI: In an attempt to give aspiring management graduates an opportunity to be dynamic business managers, The Economic Times, in association with Citi, launches The Economic Times Citi Grand Masters, a B-school centric challenge. The championship aims to test the knowledge, leadership abilities and management skills of B-School student. It also wants to acknowledge and reward potential young managers across the country.

Said Citi India CEO Sanjay Nayar, “This event provides a unique format, which tests aptitude across various competencies, imperative for successful leaders. I am confident participants of the event will find this experience enriching, thus helping lay a stronger foundation to address real time business challenges.” The championship will kick-start by B-schools by analysing an online case study and submitting their answers within the stipulated period.

Thereafter, five teams will be shortlisted by ICRA, who will compete in the zonal round to be held in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The teams in the finals will be challenged for their knowledge base in a grand business quiz conducted by the ace quizmaster Derek O Brien.
