DU creates site for admission to 71000 undergraduate seats, see details

The University of Delhi on Tuesday opened a site for admission to 71,000 undergraduate seats for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates can register for the DU CSAS UG 2024 online through the website.

There are 79 undergraduate programs in DU's 69 colleges, with 71,000 seats available. The National Testing Agency's Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate programmes (CUET-UG) will be used to determine admissions.

The process consists of applying to the University of Delhi, filling out course and college preferences, and then allocating seats.

Candidates will have to pay the DU CSAS UG 2024 registration cost. Admission to the University of Delhi via CUET will begin following the announcement of results.

Until 2021, admission to DU undergraduate courses was based on cutoff marks based on Class 12 board exam results.

According to DU officials, once a seat is awarded in a specific round, the candidate must "accept" the allocated seat before the deadline for that round, with inactivity or inaction being non-acceptance.
