Delhi University extends last date of seat acceptance till Saturday

Delhi University has extended the deadline for accepting seat allocations till Saturday. The varsity released its first merit list on Wednesday; since then, over 65,000 candidates accepted their allocated seats.

The earlier deadline was 5pm on Friday. In the context of provisional seat allocation, 'allocated seat' refers to a unique combination of programme plus college.

"The date and time of the first round of the common seat allocation system has been extended till 11.59 am Saturday," said Delhi University Registrar Vikas Gupta.


Delhi University's Wednesday announcement marked the start of the third and final stage of admissions to the varsity's undergraduate programme.
