Delhi tops the list for number of applications in Delhi University

The registration process for admission to Delhi University (DU) which closed on June 7 saw maximum applicants from Delhi followed by applications from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Bihar, a report in the Times of India said.

The university received 1,38,450 applications from Delhi followed by 76,042 from Uttar Pradesh and 45,542 from Haryana., the report added.

The online registration process for merit based and entrance based courses in the Delhi University started on May 15. More than 3,00,000 applications have been received for both the merit based as well as entrance based courses.


The university is expected to come out with the first cut off list on June 19.
