'Constitution Week' at Bennett School of Law

The speakers include Supreme Court judge Justice BV Nagarathna, India's attorney general R Venkataramani, Delhi High Court judge Pratibha Singh, and Warwick University and NLU Delhi Professor Emeritus Upendra Baxi.

Bennett University's School of Law is celebrating 'Constitution Week' under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav beginning November 19. Several legal luminaries and stakeholders in law and justice will participate in the seven-day event.

The speakers include Supreme Court judge Justice BV Nagarathna, India's attorney general R Venkataramani, Delhi High Court judge Pratibha Singh, and Warwick University and NLU Delhi Professor Emeritus Upendra Baxi.

The event aims to spread awareness of the fundamental rights and duties and other basic principles of the Indian Constitution. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is a government initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of India's independence.


Om Birla, Lok Sabha speaker commended the event saying it will spread awareness about the ethos and values enshrined in the Constitution.
