CAT 2019 to be conducted on November 24

CAT 2019 will be conducted on Sunday, November 24, (Sunday) in two sessions, said Shubhasis Dey of IIM Kozhikode, convenor of this year’s common admission test for entry into the prestigious IIMs, among other business schools.

The notification will be released by IIM Kozhikode on July 28.

Registration for CAT 2019 will open on August 7, 2019 and will close on September 18, 2019. The exam will be conducted in test centres spread across approximately 156 cities.


A notification issued by IIM Kozhikode said that the duration of the test will be 180 minutes and there will be three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability

Tutorials to understand the format of the test will be available on the CAT website from October 16, 2019.
