NEW DELHI: Career Launcher, a global provider of e-tutoring, test preps and other educational services has merged with Texas-based POWERMath, a leading provider of specialized math tutoring services to students of all ages.
"POWERMath is the right partner for Career Launcher as we broaden our academic support services to US education service providers through live tutoring conducted via the Internet," said Mr Satya Narayanan R, Chairman, Career Launcher (I) Ltd.
"By combining POWERMath's proven in-center tutoring expertise with our ability to provide e-learning to anyone with access to an Internet-enabled computer, we will pursue our mission of providing the best possible training to students while broadening their long-term career horizons. We believe it is important to make valuable tutoring services available to everyone, especially those students whose educational needs are not being fully satisfied through conventional means."
POWERMath CEO Anup Prasad will guide Career Launcher's US expansion under the POWERMath brand, which now operates as a division of Career Launcher USA, Inc.
During the last one year, Career Launcher has successfully tutored more than 1,000 students online, and the firm will be able to effectively reach the entire United States by virtue of the POWERMath transaction.
