Bihar Youth Congress demands cancellation of M.Ed exam of Patna University

PATNA: Charging irregularities and leak of question papers, Bihar Youth Congress president Lalan Kumar today urged Bihar Governor Devanand Konwar, also chancellor of state varsities, to immediately cancel the M.Ed examinations 2012 conducted by Patna University.

Kumar, in a petition to Konwar, alleged that large-scale irregularities had taken place in conduct of the exam.

Hundreds of text booklets were found thrown out of the examination centres and use of unfair means during the exams could not not be ruled out, Kumar alleged.

Even negative marking was not done during the check up of the answersheets which was in gross violation of the settled norms, he said.
