Bennett University hosts Ashima Goyal in CXO Series

The multi-faculty, research-led Bennett University started operations in August 2016, promising to make students “life and career ready.”

Bennett University’s CXO Series, progressing into its second month, hosted Ashima Goyal, professor at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research and member of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Economic Advisory Panel, who addressed the issue of monetary policy transmission and leading macro-economic indicators in India.

Goyal spoke to Bennett University’s School of Management students last week about positive indicators such as bank recapitalisation, which is likely to help state-owned lenders reduce their risk spread and strengthen their balance sheets. She highlighted the important channels for the monetary policy transmission mechanism in the Indian economy.
