Aye toStanChart after a nay to Goldman Sachs

Manasi Prasad of IIM-B, who famously turned down a mega buck Goldman Sachs offer for their New York desk, has now joined Standard Chartered in the corporate banking division. She will now be based out of Bangalore and continue to pursue her music career, reports Sushmita Mohapatra from Bangalore.

"During my interview I did speak about my interest in music and the company was very supportive about it. I am very delighted with the profile I have been offered and the job role," Manasi Prasad told ET. Apart from her profile and role, it was also the company's involvement with events like the Mumbai Marathon that made Manasi choose this company.

Manasi completed her summer internship with Goldman Sachs in New York and was made a pre-placement offer with the same company. However, she refuses to compare both the offers in terms of salary packages or the roles.
