Assam to ink MoU with Columbia University

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister, Tarun Gogoi will ink Memorandum of Understanding with Columbia University in New York on June 26.

Gogoi is presently in US visiting various educational institutions. Gogoi visited Montgomery College in Washington DC and interacted with the professors and students of the institution.

The Chief Minister met some Assamese NRI families living in Washington DC. He also interacted with some other NRIs and Americans who are interested in investment in India, particularly in Assam.

They also discussed on various other issues related to education sector, healthcare, biodiversity, green economy etc. and asked them to come forward and explore the investment possibilities in these sectors in Assam.
