Aptech to open 150 new centres next year
IT education provider Aptech today said it will open 150 more centres across the country next year, besides exploring opportunities in other emerging countries.
"We will add another 150 centres by next year. It will be across all our brands, including Arena Multimedia and English Express, in the country," Aptech chief executive officer and managing director Ninad Karpe told reporters on the sidelines of the Franchise India Summit here.
Aptech currently runs over 700 learning centres across the country and around 400 overseas, particularly in the emerging markets like China, Brazil and Vietnam.
"We are present in almost 35 developing countries now. We will continue to look at increasing our presence in the emerging markets," Karpe added. He, however, did not disclose the amount of funds required to execute the expansion plan, saying that most of the centres are opened on franchise model.
