All IIT Placement Committee revokes ban on 30 companies from placements

Apart from startups like Zomato, Grofers and Stayzilla, the other companies in the list are Zettata; Nowfloats; ConsultLane; Zimply; GPSK etc.

All IIT Placement Committee ( AIPC) has revoked the ban on 30 companies from participating in the placement process at the IIT campuses.

Most are startups in the list that includes names like Zomato, Grofers, Peppertap, Stayzilla, etc.

Also, a few of these startups that are now allowed to participate in recruitment process at IIT campuses have ceased to exist.

A statement from AIPC said, "As per the decision taken during the 23rd AIPC meeting at IIT Bombay on 8 September 2017 the ban on companies blacklisted in the 21st AIPC meeting at IIT Kanpur on 14 Aug 2016 is hereby revoked with immediate effect."

The other companies in the list are Zettata; Nowfloats; ConsultLane; Zimply; Portea Medical; Babajobs; GPSK; Hopscotch; SmartTrak Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd.; Glow Homes Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Tescra Software Pvt. Ltd., etc.
