8,000 programmers from top engineering colleges battle it out in mega Adobe Hackathon

“HackerRank is providing opportunities to coders at different locations in India to compete on a common platform, increasing their competitiveness and coding skillsets,” said Harishankaran Karunanidhi, cofounder, HackerRank.
“Hackathons such as these not only offer students an opportunity to be a part of this process, but also provides aspiring developers and programmers the ideal platform to test their skills against their peers,” said Abdul Jaleel, vice president, people resources India, Adobe.
IT Roorkee had the highest participation with 272 students, followed by IIT BHU (Varanasi). (263 students). Overall, students from more than 260 colleges participated.
