Switzerland’s event management firm MCI acquires Megaron
Switzerland-based global event management firm MCI on Tuesday announced acquisition of marketing and communications firm Megaron as part of plans to strengthen its presence in the Indian market.

NEW DELHI: Switzerland-based global event management firm MCI on Tuesday announced acquisition of marketing and communications firm Megaron as part of plans to strengthen its presence in the Indian market.
MCI, which has an office in Mumbai, will be branching out in Delhi and Bangalore through Megaron.
"India is a major strategic market for MCI and we see immense growth potential here. Megaron also brings excellent new talent to our company," MCI President Roger Tondeur said in a statement.
Megaron, primarily an event management firm, also provides graphic collateral and web design services.
Company founders Priti Khanna and Nisha Sharma Mullati would become Joint Managing Directors of MCI India along with MCI's Managing Director in charge of Mumbai office Sanjay Saxena.
"We already work with several international associations and are also developing strong relationships with Indian companies," MCI Asia Pacific President Robin Lokerman said.
Manned by 25 people, MCI's client list comprises Turner International, HP, Seagate and Illy among others. MCI established its Mumbai office in September last year, the statement added.
